Joyce Fankhauser received her Bachelor of Arts in Music degree from the University of Washington, and her Master of Music in Harp Performance from the Cleveland Institute of Music. Ms. Fankhauser has performed with a number of orchestras. She has served as Principal Harpist with the Greenville Symphony Orchestra and as harpist with The Wagner Festival Orchestra, Seattle Opera, Seattle Symphony and Opera orchestras, and the Orquesta Sinfonica National in Costa Rica. She has performed as substitute harpist with the Victoria, British Columbia Symphony and the Charlotte Symphony orchestras.

As a soloist, Ms. Fankhauser has performed with the Greenville County Youth Orchestra and as recitalist for the Chamber Pot Series in Columbia, South Carolina, and the Langford Concert Series in Newberry, South Carolina. She performed at a reception honoring former Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Lady Margaret Thatcher, in Spartanburg, and for the opening ceremonies of BMW, also in Spartanburg, South Carolina. She is in demand as a soloist by many organizations and businesses throughout the country.
