| The Petrie School of Music’s graduate programs provide a solid professional foundation for men and women seeking advanced training in preparation for musical careers or doctoral study. The Master of Music degree requires 30 to 33 hours of course work. The Master of Music in Music Education with Initial Certification degree requires 23 hours of prerequisite undergraduate education and 40 hours of graduate study.
