Even though your daughter may have moved away for college, you can still play a big role in her life... even from a distance.
For example, you can become an active member of the Converse Parent's Council. This important group provides input into many aspects of campus activities. Parent Council meetings are held in the fall and spring in conjunction with family weekends.
One of the biggest ways you can impact Converse is by participating in the Converse Fund. Some Converse parents may feel that tuition covers all costs of a college education, but it does not. Essential parts of the College's annual operating expenses are covered by Converse Fund gifts from alumnae and friends of Converse; it is through unrestricted gifts to the Converse Fund which help us to provide scholarships, scientific equipment and lab supplies, maintain the athletic fields, support to the performing arts with theatre productions, dance programs, concerts and traveling artist exhibits. No matter the size, all gifts to the Converse Fund matter!
