1. Complete an application for admission before or during the fall of your
senior year. Although admissions decisions are made on a rolling basis, students are encouraged to apply as early as possible to receive priority consideration for scholarships and financial aid.
2. Visit Converse for an Open House or for an individual visit scheduled through the Office of Admission by calling 1-800-766-1125. Information on campus programs and registration forms can be found by visiting
http://www.converse.edu/admissions/previewdays.html.
3. Converse College offers
scholarships for academics, music, creativity, athletics, visual
arts, and theatre. Scholarship offers to qualifying
students will be made at the time of admission. Students
may be invited to participate in the Scholarship competition
listed in the "Scholarship Opportunities" section. You can quickly calculate what your scholarship will be using the Scholarship Calculator.
4. As soon as possible after January 1, students should complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The form is available online at
www.fafsa.ed.gov . The FAFSA code for Converse College is 003431.
Students from South Carolina should be aware of the June 30th deadline for completing the FAFSA in order to apply for the South Carolina Tuition Grant.

5. The Office of Financial Assistance will begin sending award letters around March
1st. Once they have the FAFSA results, an award letter will be sent
within 48 hours.
6. Once the award is received, you should review, sign, and return it within two weeks or by May 1st, whichever is later.
7. In order to reserve financial aid awards, scholarship offers and a space in the freshman class,
please pay the reservation fee by May
