| The Office of Career Services' objective is to teach effective self-assessment and skill development that will aid students and alumnae in their pursuit of career goals. Our attention is focused on the student throughout their entire academic career in order to encourage the student to begin the process of determining career objectives and goals that are consistent with her values, interests, abilities and education, leading ultimately to a rewarding and satisfying future. |

Karen Finnegan is the Director of Career Services. She has a BA in Vocal Performance from Limestone College
and a M.Ed. in Counseling from Clemson University.
She is building on 20 years experience in higher education as a faculty member and academic advisor and as a staff member in Student Affairs, including 6 years as the Director of Career Services at Newberry College. |

Peggy Rowe is the Administrative Assistant in Career Services. She joined the Converse College community in February 2001 as an Administrative Assistant in the Campus Life Office. Peggy has an Associate Degree in Secretarial Science and over 30 years experience in Student Affairs, including 9 years as the Administrative Assistant in the Career Center at the University of South Carolina Upstate. Her duties include managing the daily operations of the office, handling the initial contact with all visitors to the office, supervision of student assistants, and maintaining the job listings. |
