Ellen Jennings Gower ‘73

Ellen served on the Converse Alumnae Board and was elected to serve as the 1970’s Decade Representative. She was a key player in the establishment of the Pleasant Valley Connection, a collaboration that brought together city, county and community resources in Greenville, South Carolina to allow greater access for those in need. She has served as President of the Junior League of Greenville, and has served on the boards of various organizations including the South Carolina Children’s Theater, United Ministries, YWCA, United Way Community Planning Council, Greenville Women Giving and Roper Mountain Science Center.
