Converse 100 Award
Bet Kenan Hamilton ’83

First presented during the College’s Centennial, the Converse 100 Award is given to alumnae who clearly represent the qualities of character and achievement that Converse alumnae hold as their ideal.

Bet served on the boards of Trinity United Methodist Church, Spartanburg Day School and Wofford College’s Terrier Club. As a member of the Converse College Alumnae Board, she chaired CARE (Converse Alumnae Recruitment Effort), served on the Nominating Committee and served as a 1980’s Decade Representative. Bet is currently a sales consultant for the Carlisle Collection and runs a personal bookkeeping service.
