Graduates of the Department of Religion and Philosophy enter diverse and promising careers in ministry, business, law, academics, non-profit organizations, etc. Outstanding majors include:

  • Jamie Bauer '07, Children/Youth Director at Kingston Presbyterian Church
  • Heather Barclay, '03, Harvard Divinity School
  • Jennifer Estes, '98, Duke Divinity School
  • Olivia McIsaac, '98,  Fuller Theological Seminary
  • Wendy Jolley- Kabi '91 is the National Coordinator for the Association of Missing and Exploited Children's Organizations and has spent time in Africa with the Peace Corps
  • The Rev. Kelli Waters Taylor ‘89 is an ordained minister who served as Senior Minister of Trinity United Methodist Church in Greenville, SC and is now Director of Communications for the General Board of Church and Society of the UMC in Washington, DC
  • Henrietta Odell Humphreys '60 started her own financial investment firm in San Francisco, CA. She was one of the first women in that leadership role in the field.
