LABORATORY SCIENCE CLASSES: ASTRONOMY, COMPUTER SCIENCE, PHYSICS

All students who graduate from the College of Arts and Sciences must take two laboratory science courses. The Department of Mathematics, Computer Science, and Physics offers several courses that meet this requirement, including Introduction to Computer Science, Astronomy, and three levels of physics.

Astronomy is one of the most popular classes at Converse. Each year, the class fills quickly as students strive to learn more about the universe. Students also have an opportunity to learn about archeoastronomy from a professor who has traveled to many parts of the world to study astronomy of ancient peoples.
