| Participants write and present their bills in committee,
and if a bill passes committee, it is debated on the floor.
After passing both houses, the bill goes to the Governor who
may sign or veto it. A Supreme Court also hears a case each
Fall Session in which participant "attorneys" debate
the constitutionality of a law. During the proceedings, state officials such as
the governor and lieutenant governor speak to the delegates. |
