INTRAMURALS
Converse College's Department of Physical Education offers strong Intramural programs in flag football, softball, volleyball, tennis, soccer and basketball. Soccer games are held in the fall, basketball is in the winter, softball, tennis and flag football are in the spring, and volleyball is offered both during the fall and spring. Participation is open to everyone, but required for students taking physical activity classes. Teams are formed by the students and the games are round-robin style.  Winning teams receive champion T-shirts and a pizza party is held at the end of every session.

Soccer-  Teams must have at least 18 members to play in the October games. There will be two fifteen-minute halves and a five-minute halftime.

Basketball- During Winter Term, the games will be played with ten-minute halves and a five-minute half-time. Teams must have at least 10 members.

Volleyball- Matches will be held in the fall and the spring, with teams comprised of at least 10 members. Volleyball plays to 15 minutes or 30 points, whichever comes first.

Tennis- In the spring, a round robin tournament for singles and doubles will be held.

Flag Football- During the spring games, five to seven players are on the field at a time and the teams can have only 15 members on the roster.  The field is fifty yards in length and the game has two 10-minute halves with a five minute halftime.
