Department of
English offers two types of travel opportunities;
travel that complements an existing English course
taken on the Converse campus, or travel that
explores a special topic while
abroad.
Below are some examples of
travel opportunities that have occurred with the
Department of English. These opportunities change from year to
year.
England- Some subjects of study during travel to
England have been Arthur and The Matter of England,
Medieval Literature focusing on Arthurian Legends, and
Film Studies focusing on modern British cinema.
Italy- Students focus on non-fiction creative
writing while traveling through Italy.
