English/Creative and Professional Writing
Concept

Concept is Converse College's student-edited literary magazine that publishes original poetry, fiction, non-fiction, and art.  The magazine provides students with the opportunity to become knowledgeable of contemporary writers and acts as an aid in teaching, working, and thinking creatively.  All students are allowed to submit their creative works for publication.  Those students working on the magazine gain valuable editing and business skills, as well as learn to adapt in a professional environment. Concept accepts only the highest quality of work, that which imitates Converse College's own goals, values, and traditions.
