Professor Pletcher completed her undergraduate degree in Economics and Business Administration at Albion College where she also completed the Liberal Arts Program in Professional Management. She went on to earn her M.B.A. at Keller Graduate School of Management in Chicago. Professor Pletcher has been a member of the Converse faculty since 1984. She has worked in banking and the electronic connector industry in the areas of profit planning and cost accounting. Mrs. Pletcher earned the Certified Management Accountant designation in 1988 and is a member of the ICMA and the Spartanburg area chapter of the Institute of Management Accountants. Her areas of interest include managerial or cost accounting, systems development and keeping up with ever changing technology. At Converse she teaches, Intermediate Accounting I, Accounting Information Systems, Cost Accounting I & II, Advanced Accounting, Managerial Accounting and Business Finance.
