Dr. Keen is an experimental psychologist who
specializes in Animal Learning and Behavior. He
has published several articles and book chapters
and has given talks at national and
international conferences. Dr. Keen uses animal
and human subjects to investigate how time is
perceived and remembered, how the frequency of
events are processed, and to determine the
factors that influence choice behavior.
Dr. Keen received his BA from Kent State
University and his PhD from Indiana University.
In 2000, he was awarded the Outstanding
Dissertation Award from the American
Psychological Association, Division 25. Before
joining Converse in 2004, Dr. Keen was a
post-doctoral researcher at Brown University
from 2001-2004 and a post-doctoral researcher at
Indiana University from 2000-2001.
