Peter Brown came to Converse in the fall of 2003. He received his B.A., with a double major in computer science and English, from Williams
College. Dr. Brown's M.S. and Ph.D., both in computer science, are from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. His research interests center on measuring how humans perceive 3D shape in computer-graphics images, but he also has interests in information visualization and
computer science education. He teaches computer science at all levels.
