GUEST LECTURERS

Converse chemistry faculty and students place a great emphasis on staying informed on the latest research and developments. To assist in this process, as well as to recognize superior achievements in the field, the Department of Chemistry has hosted a diverse range of lecturers, including:

• Dr. David Johnson, professor of biochemistry, East Tennessee State University College of Medicine

• Dr. James L. Marshall, professor of chemistry, University of North Texas

• Dr. Barbara Heyl, and a Converse chemistry alumna, Vice-President for Development, CIBA Corporation
