Frazer Pajak uses his skills and knowledge as an architect to teach Converse interior design  students about interior construction, space planning, and perspective rendering.  One of his primary areas of interest is history, and he teaches his students about the history of architecture and historic procedures.  In Art Restoration, students gain hands-on experience restoring antiques and historic houses.  Professor Pajak had been guest lecturer, critic, and juror at Clemson University's School of Architecture and as guest lecturer in the Interior Design Department at Western Carolina University.  An important part  of Professor Pajak's teaching is involving his students in many of his community services.  A member of the Spartanburg Human Relations Commission, he is Co-Chair of a project to restore an historical house in Spartanburg; as a board member of the Historical Association of Spartanburg, he has worked at the Price House, another historic residence.  Professor Pajak has received a number of awards for his work, including a citation for his work on restoration with the Urban Youth Corps and the Education  Award from the American Society of Interior Designers. He served as the Vice-President for the American Institute of Architects (Spartanburg chapter) during the year 2002.
