Studio Art B.F.A. Course Requirements
Art History:  
ART 201: Intro. to History of Western Art I 3 hrs.
ART 202: Intro. to History of Western Art II 3 hrs.
Two of the following three courses:  
  ART 306: Twentieth Century Art Before 1945  
  ART 309: Twentieth Century Art Since 1945  
  ART 315: Women and Art  
One Art History Elective 3 hrs.
  Total 15 hrs.
     
Foundation Level Courses:  
ART 111: 2-D Design 3 hrs.
ART 112: 3-D Design 3 hrs.
ART 113: Drawing I 3 hrs.
ART 213: Drawing II 3 hrs.
ART 120: Printmaking I 3 hrs.
ART 130: Ceramics I 3 hrs.
ART 140: Photography I 3 hrs.
ART 150: Sculpture I 3 hrs.
ART 170: Painting I 3 hrs.
  Total 27 hrs.
     
Advanced Study:  

10 additional courses in Studio Art at the 200, 300, or 400 level. Six to nine hours must be taken in the Junior or Senior Advanced Studio classes. Internships can be taken up to 6 hours.
Includes:

ART 495: Senior Project 6 hrs.
ART 410: Advanced Studio 6-12 hrs.
  Total 30 hrs.
     
ART 414: Senior Seminar 1 hr.
ART 415: Senior Exhibition 0 hr.
