Pre-Pharmacy
Pre-Pharmacy is a 2-, 3-, or 4-year program required for admission to pharmacy school and the Doctor of Pharmacy degree. The length of the pre-pharmacy program depends upon the abilities of the individual student, the pharmacy school of her choice, and her career goals.  At many pharmacy schools, the majority of the first year students already have a 4-year baccalaureate degree.  Pre-Pharmacy students need to show a strong aptitude toward the natural sciences. Since pharmacy schools vary in their admission policies, a student should contact the school of her choice for its exact requirements.
