An honors student may  participate in as many or as few of these social gatherings as she wishes. These include opportunities like the following:

  • Food for Thought Program, a series of discussions over a meal. Food for Thought topics have included a discussion of "The Religious Significance of Food"
  • Annual Honors Program banquet
  • Lunch with Dr. Rebecca Sharpless, a prominent scholar and the Director of the Institute for Oral History at Baylor University.

  • Panel discussion on opportunities for student independent research
